For over two decades, Sharon Wells Mathematics has led the way to math success by providing coherent, rigorous, standard-aligned mathematics instruction in thousands of classrooms throughout Texas. At Sharon Wells Mathematics, our goal is to provide the resources and support needed so classroom teachers feel empowered, prepared and confident in their approach to teaching mathematics.

FULL AND PART-TIME CONSULTANTS

The Educational Consultant is the onsite representative for Sharon Wells Mathematics performing staff development trainings that facilitate the fidelity of implementing our instructional resources successfully in Texas classrooms. In every workshop conducted, the consultants are expected to focus on the "HOW" to use our hands-on approach to teaching the curriculum (100% TEKS aligned), so all participants are actively engaged and involved in the learning process. This approach coupled with the modeling of best practices and proper implementation of our rigorous and in-depth instruction brings about meaningful and effective ways to teach math in classrooms throughout Texas. Professionalism is KEY and consultants are the face of the company. They are reliable, responsible, innovative, with a strong work ethic. They maintain the integrity of the program by demonstrating a strong knowledge base, not only in math, but in using the Sharon Wells program strategies, modeling professionalism, providing leadership, and demonstrating innovation and creativity.

CURRICULUM EDITORS

The Curriculum Editor applies editorial, math content area, math pedagogical skills and knowledge to ensure content development and accuracy for all published materials in grades 2nd - 5th. They review and revise the curriculum for quality and accuracy in adherence to content TEKS and grade-level appropriate pedagogical theory. They are part of and collaborate with a curriculum editors team that contributes and maintains the accuracy of published mathematical content to the Sharon Wells program format and design. Each Curriculum Editor having over ten years of experience and/or training focusing on: K – 12: teaching mathematics Mathematics curriculum development (writing and editing) Editing experience for mathematical assessments

DOCUMENT FORMATTING SPECIALIST

The Document Formatting Specialist is a highly skilled employee with knowledge in document formatting, graphic design, typing, and data input. They are detail oriented, innovative, and possess excellent business customer service skills. Document Formatting Specialists also assist with various office duties, and work independently to meet stringent deadlines.
